CLE’s Tiffany at CMAAugust 4th, 2012 Posted in Galleries/Museums/Exhibits
To all of you glass lovers out there, have you connected with Louis Comfort Tiffany, presently on display at the Cleveland Museum of Art?
We are big fans of Tiffany’s glass and were delighted to catch the display of his iridescent glass bowl and stained glass window in a rather small, discreet location just off of the Rotunda.
Even if glass isn’t your thing, one can’t help but admire the creativity and precision of their craftsmanship. The depth of the window’s layers was quite surprising, although difficult to capture with the lens.
Cleveland’s crown jewel of Louis Comfort Tiffany’s art is in Lake View Cemetery‘s Wade Chapel. I’ll take you there next.
